Meet the Atlanta Track Club Elite Support Team
Atlanta Track Club's Multidisciplinary Athlete Performance and Prevention Team (MAPP Team) was founded in 2021 to provide comprehensive care to members of Atlanta Track Club Elite. Comprised of veteran providers with direct expertise in running sports medicine, the innovative MAPP Team conducts comprehensive evaluations to proactively prescribe preventative interventions, assesses nascent and chronic injuries or other medical challenges weekly in a multidisciplinary setting, and values the perspectives of a variety of disciplines. The MAPP Team works to identify the root causes of injury while promoting holistic well-being.
Focused on the four "Pillars of Performance" of proper training, proactive physical therapy and sports medicine, optimal nutrition, and performance-focused sports psychology, the MAPP Team is the team behind Atlanta Track Club Elite.
