Luke Houser, a two-time NCAA Indoor Mile Champion, seven-time All-American and 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials semifinalist in the 1500m, has joined the Atlanta Track Club Elite Team. He will make his debut this Saturday at the Dr. Sander Scorcher, the Club announced today.
Houser is best known for his accomplishments as a member of the University of Washington track and field team from 2019 to 2024. He won back-to-back NCAA Indoor Championships in the mile, becoming the first Husky to achieve this feat and the first man to repeat in the event since Josh Kerr in 2016-2017. In 2023, he also led his team to its first NCAA podium finish since 1930.
Now living in Atlanta - the only city he's ever called home besides the Seattle area - Houser said he is eager to explore the Atlanta Beltline, reconnect with former teammate Aidan Ryan and train under Coach Tom Nohilly, a key factor in his decision to join Atlanta Track Club Elite.
