Two Atlanta Track Club Elite Records Fall at 2025 Millrose Games

ATLANTA - February 11, 2025 - The 2025 indoor season is off to a strong start for Atlanta Track Club Elite, with athletes continuing to build momentum each time they race. This past weekend, Olivia Baker and Luciano Fiore broke two Club indoor records at the prestigious Millrose Games at The Armory in New York City.

Baker placed second in the women's 800 meters, clocking a personal best and new club record of 2:00.02. She said she felt strong and healthy heading into the race and delivered a powerful kick to secure her spot on the podium.

Fiore's return to The Armory was particularly meaningful, as he raced in his home state in front of close friends and family. His performance did not disappoint. He ran 1:16.37 in the indoor 600 meters setting a personal best for him and a new Club record.

"Racing Millrose means a lot to me," Fiore wrote in an Instagram post after the race. "Track's cream of the crop assembles in my home state of New York... to showcase their excellence in the sport."

Over in Philadelphia, the rest of the Elite team competed at the Penn Classic, taking home wins in the 800 meters and mile.

In the men's 800, Rob Heppenstall dominated with a time of 1:47.21 with a powerful move over the final lap, while Hannah Segrave won the women's race in 2:03.24. In the men's mile, Luke Houser broke the tape in 3:56.90 after closing in 55 seconds in the last 400 meters, with Aidan Ryan finishing close behind.

Up next, the team will compete at the Tiger Paw Invite at Clemson University, the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston and the Wisconsin Windy City Invitational in Chicago.
